By 2030, Europe must reduce CO2 emissions by 55%, and Ceba Ingranaggi also wants to play its part. The company has always had a keen eye on the environment and climate change. For this reason, we have invested a lot of resources in optimizing our internal processes and reducing our carbon footprint.

Thanks to a metal chip compaction machine, bricks are produced, allowing better storage of scrap material while simultaneously recovering the oils present in the swarf. After specific treatments, the bricks can be reused in new machining operations.

Used Oil Recovery

Ceba Ingranaggi has developed a process for recovering used oils from its machining operations.
Processes such as turning, drilling, gear cutting, milling, and gear shaping produce metal chips that remain impregnated with the oils used for tool cooling.

Our SLUDGEBRICK HB2 200/70 filtration and sludge recovery system represents a strategic investment for managing grinding residues. Thanks to this technology, Ceba Ingranaggi compacts machining waste into solid bricks, drastically reducing their volume and effectively separating cutting fluids. This process allows us to recycle oils while maintaining high cleanliness and precision standards across all departments.
