Integrated Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety Policy Statement

ISO 26000:2020

Ceba Ingranaggi s.r.l. has established the adoption of an Ethical and Social Responsibility Management System in accordance with the ISO 26000:2020 standard to integrate the company’s management system by deepening issues related to labor according to the principles contained in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO Conventions and Recommendations, with particular reference to the protection of vulnerable groups in society. Within this System, Ceba Ingranaggi s.r.l. has defined its Policy Statement for Ethical and Social Responsibility, assuming the following commitments:

Child Labor

Not to employ personnel under the age of 18, as this would prevent them from attending school, playing, and enjoying their free time. Should this occur for any reason, Management commits to ensuring adequate support necessary to guarantee the safety, education, and development of the employees involved.

Forced Labor

Not to resort to or support the use of forced labor and not to require any kind of pledge or deposit at the time of hiring.

Health and Safety

To promote and develop a healthy and safe working environment, providing personnel with adequate facilities for meals and personal hygiene, adopting appropriate measures to prevent accidents and health damage, appointing a representative for these activities, ensuring adequate training for current and newly hired personnel, and complying with applicable mandatory regulations.

Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining

To respect the personnel’s right to form and join unions of their choice and not to suffer retaliation in case of membership and related activities.

Discrimination

Not to implement or support any kind of discrimination, and not to interfere with the private rights of personnel.

Disciplinary Procedures

To prohibit and not support the use of physical punishment and/or verbal abuse, and not to allow behaviors that could hinder the exercise of union rights.

Working Hours

To comply with laws and industry standards, not exceeding 40 working hours and 8 hours of weekly overtime, granting at least one day off within a seven-day period. All overtime work is voluntary and remunerated with additional percentages over the normal wage.

Remuneration

Remuneration complies with applicable collective labor agreements and local supplements, allowing personnel to satisfy their primary needs and offering discretionary earnings, and is paid in the manner most satisfactory to the personnel. Wage deductions are not made for disciplinary purposes and allowances comply with current laws. No contracts are signed for labor only nor false apprenticeship programs are implemented.

Management of Ceba Ingranaggi s.r.l. is confident that the introduction of the Ethical and Social Responsibility Management System confirms the company’s ability to meet internal and external needs it faces daily. This Ethical and Social Responsibility Policy Statement is made available on the website, notice boards, and company intranet, and accessible to interested parties upon request. It will be confirmed and/or revised based on events, changes, and results of monitoring and audits as required.
